The first quarter 2020 administration report is now available to members.
Member contributions for the first quarter totalled $4.4m, with 264 new members registered to the fund, and 72 member claims, increasing the total number of members to 12,210.
The Fund paid out $925k in benefits during the quarter for foreign worker withdrawals, retirement, voluntary withdrawals, and deaths.
Member investment options also show $773k being transferred from the Conservative Fund to the Balanced and Growth Funds.
Interim interest rates to March 2020 are -7.40% Conservative Fund, -13.80% Balanced Fund, and -18.60% Growth Fund. These interim rates have recovered significantly in the month of April.
