Voluntary Contributions
You may also make voluntary contributions. These may be made either as a lump sum amount for a minimum of $1000 or as a regular contribution of not less than 1% of your earnings. Voluntary contributions are paid into a Voluntary Account held in your name. Unlike the compulsory contributions, Voluntary contributions are not matched by contributions from your employer. Amounts in your voluntary account do not form part of your pension calculation. You are also able to withdraw funds from your Voluntary Account once a year, with no withdrawal fees.
